Posted on July 15, 2011

Creativity is what will propel your business from merely being average to being superb. Few businesses succeed by just being "me toos."

Instead, creativity in your marketing, your product and a number of other things all add up to giving you a powerful edge in business.

Creativity In Your Marketing

Creativity in marketing comes in many levels. At the top level, it comes in the form of deciding how your company is branded.

How do you want your company represented in your user's minds? How can you really create that impression in the long run?

Posted on March 6, 2011

Do you have an unprofessional manager? From cursing to wasting time, unprofessional managers are hard to deal with and deserve to be fired!

Your Manager Curses: If ever other word you manager says is the F bomb coupled with S%uT from time to time, then you're dealing with an unprofessional manager. When a manager like this starts to exhibit this type on unacceptable behavior, you might be tempted to let loose a little and start throwing your own curse words here and there since it "seems" acceptable. As much as you might be tempted to do so, don't. It's important that you stay professional even though those around you exhibit ape like behavior. The VP of Sales might be walking down the hall way and you don't want to be caught acting unprofessionally.

Your Manager Could Be Charged With Sexual Harassment: If your male manager starts to make inappropriate comments towards female co-workers, then you're dealing with someone with serious problems. You can't afford to be charged with sexual harassment, so don't chime in when he does share inappropriate comments.

Your Manager Wastes Time By Surfing the Internet: If you catch your manager surfing Facebook or YouTube, this doesn't give you the green light to follow suit as well. After all, someone in the department needs to continue working! In due time, the higher ups will catch on and realize that your manager is doing no work whatsoever. In the meantime, you've taken over other workload so you'll be prepared to step up! Read more...
